12 Days of Christmas

 It's been a year.... I think we've all felt it in so many different ways. In many ways, there are no words and in other ways there are too many words.

Closing in on the end of the year, the time when I start reflecting on what the year has held & the dreams I have for the coming year, all I can think of is that I want peace & love in my home. 

In the home, with children, we have such an opportunity to pour love & peace into their lives. Not hide them from reality, but to give them the foundation of love & courage that will stay with them their entire lives. The best way that I know how to do this for my own children, is to sit, gather them around me and read. Read of characters who face struggle, face challenge, feel love, feel pain. Read of characters who cling to God, who love Jesus, who are so thankful for our Savior. Share the laughter & tears with the children as we go on these adventures in the pages of stories.

That is the heart behind these bundles that I've put together. I want the same for your family. I want you to also have a peaceful close to this year of so much struggle. 

In that same vein of thought, I also know that this could be an absolute priceless gift to a family who can't afford these book treasures, and I invite you to nominate a family that you know would treasure a 12 Days of Christmas for themselves, but it is out of reach. Welcome, I'm so glad that you are here. I would love to pour you a cup of coffee, sit down with you, and have a sweet visit.
Reading has always had such a special place in my life. I have precious memories of my parents reading to me, so many memories of reading way late into the night as a teen, and now memories of reading to my own children. My goal is to simply share resources, tips, and encouragement as we journey through the precious days that we have...and reading will be woven through out!
